Oak Tree has died and been removed

The oak tree, which has been such a prominent feature on our property, has unfortunately died and become a hazard from falling limbs.  It was removed on November 20th, with several members in attendance to watch it finally be taken down.  It was a meeting point for our annual community Easter Sunrise service and will be missed.  We hope to construct a prayer garden on the site where it stood and have kept the wood from the tree to use in some form in this garden.  The project is in the planning stage at the moment.  Anyone who has ideas for the site should contact Bill Palmer who is leading this project.  Here is a picture provided by Bob Dunham to document the site prior to removal.
